Crafting The Present
Since our establishment in 1911, Fredericia has cultivated a proud tradition of exquisite craftsmanship and innovative design. This tradition, spearheaded by the Graversen family, has thrived through close collaboration with a circle of internationally recognised designers, shaping a legacy of iconic designs. Our proud spirit dates back to the founding workshop, where a legacy of craft and an appetite for innovation and collaboration was born. A tradition formed by tools, techniques, material expertise, and, above all, people.
As a design company, we are dedicated to celebrating the craft and community that inform our culture of design in this present day.
“ At Fredericia, we are privileged with a legacy of iconic designs but also a legacy of craft. A tradition formed by techniques, tools, materials, and, most importantly, people. ”
Rasmus Graversen, CEO and 3rd generation of the family behind Fredericia

Building upon heritage
In the world of design, the tension between innovation and tradition is ever-present. Having existed for over 100 years, it's a conversation that we continually engage in, reflecting the changing needs and tastes of society. We aim to remain curious about innovation while honouring the past.
This transcends our collection of designs. Many of our designs come to life in search of innovation but are built on traditional craft techniques. This makes the classics as relevant to the world as the new.
