Flamingo Chair
Almost like a flamingo standing on its slender legs, the Flamingo Chair is at once aesthetic and poetic. The graceful curves of the seat with its symbolic ‘wings’ for arms are poised above the steel frame and long, slim legs. While the back appears as if it’s floating on top. It all culminates in an exquisite expression of fluid lines.

Swivel chair with shell in moulded cold cured foam, CMHR or HR foam, reinforced with steel, fully upholstered in fabric or leather. Cover is non-removable. Swivel base of stainless steel tube, mounted with plastic glides. Natural fibre glides, as an alternative to felt.

Leather is an animal product, which we treat with the utmost respect. At Fredericia, we only use hides of the finest quality, from animals raised according to strict ethical guidelines.
Semi-aniline leather has a light finish, which makes the leather more resistant to dirt while also prolonging its longevity.
Powder coated metal is durable and does not require any particular type of maintenance. Simply wipe with a soft cloth wrung in hot water, possibly containing a mild cleaning agent if necessary. Wipe the surface with a dry cloth, immediately after.

Meet the designer
Johannes Foersom began his career as a cabinetmaker, and Peter Hiort-Lorenzen started as a carpenter building ship interiors before joining forces as a Danish design duo. For nearly 50 years, they have created organic, functional, durable designs to add long-lasting value for people and their surroundings and expressed in a design idiom that blends their knowledge of materials, market trends and an eye for innovation. The duo has won several international prizes and is praised for experimenting with new materials and constructions.
