Highlights from 3daysofdesign
At the Danish design festival 3daysofdesign, our focus is on inspiring people and celebrating exceptional craftsmanship.
This year, we showcased new interpretations of atmospheric interiors along with new designs and revived classics by renowned designers Jasper Morrison, Barber Osgerby, and Børge Mogensen.
To highlight Fredericia’s rich design heritage and values, we hosted the exhibition 'Crafting The Present.' Curated by designer Maria Bruun, the exhibition spotlighted skilled artisans, their tools, and the intricate processes behind some of Fredericia Furniture's most celebrated designs.
“ Furniture connects us to the present. Furniture is helplessly analogue. Good design allows people to engage with each other, sense the quality of materials, and create a stimulating visual environment that gives a place spirit. As Wegner said, “A piece of furniture first becomes truly complete when someone sits in it.” ”
